Hey there, I'm Chrisél!

I'm a photographer based in the beautiful city of Cape Town, and I absolutely adore witnessing the love between two people. I consider myself pretty darn lucky to work with such fantastic individuals every day.

So, a little backstory – I actually studied acting. After graduating, I was thrust into the bewildering world of "adulting." Trying to make a name for myself in the film industry as a youngster was a real rollercoaster. But as time passed, the glamour of perfecting my craft and assisting on film sets started to lose its shine. I decided it was time to hit the pause button and take a breather from the industry. Packed my bags, hopped on a plane, and voilà, I became a flight attendant for Emirates.

But after a while, I began to miss the wild world of entertainment. I returned to South Africa and, believe it or not, I ended up as a radio DJ at a local station. For four whole years, I had a blast "chatting" for a living, and even sang and danced in musicals. Yet, it was clear that another change was in order.

Then, one day, I picked up my first professional camera, and it was like love at first sight. And so, my photography journey commenced. This has been the most fulfilling adventure of my life. Being a full-time photographer is an absolute dream come true! Oh, and I have another dream – to own all the animals in the world. Still working on that one...

I'm out there capturing moments with all my heart and soul, weaving stories as I go along. I'm super pumped to share my passion, and I can't wait to capture some enchanting memories with you.
